Welcome to Stripped- the first and only salon that specializes in sugaring hair removal in all of the Lansing area. “WHAT IS SUGARING?” Sugar is made of a warm, all natural paste consisting of only sugar, water, and lemon juice. It is a safe, much gentler alternative to wax and effective for ALL skin and hair types, even the most sensitive! Sugar not only removes your hair, but exfoliates your skin without adhering to any live skin cells. The proper sugaring technique involves molding the paste opposite the direction of hair growth, then removing the hair with a flicking motion in the direction of which it grows, providing less breakage than a waxing technique, ultimately leading to less irritation, less ingrown hairs, and much smoother results! I have 12+ years of experience mastering sugaring hair removal and brow services, and have performed thousands of brazilians over my career for people of all genders, ages, shapes and sizes! Brow transformations with brow tinting and brow laminations, and Brazilian sugaring are my expertise, as well as servicing each client above and beyond expectations. Before your sugaring appointment: Please allow 2-3 weeks of hair growth. This means NO SHAVING! Hair has to be a certain length to be removed, as well as allowing all the growth cycles to be present for your best results. Please also come to your appointment with clean, product free skin. No lotions, oils, deodorants, or makeup if you are doing facial services. No tanning/heavy sun exposure for 48 hours ahead of time. Exfoliate the area 48 hours ahead of time. After your sugaring appointment: No saunas, swimming in lakes, pools or hot tubs for 48 hours. No sexual intercourse or heavy exercise for 24-48 hours No tanning or heavy sun exposure on the area for 48 hours. NO SHAVING IN BETWEEN SERVICES! Please kindly cancel or make adjustments within 36 hours of your appointment. 50% of your service may be charged if not cancelled within 36 hours. You agree to this cancellation policy when booking your appointment.
There is zero tolerance for no call/no show appointments. You will be charged 100% of your service. Thank you for being courteous and understanding.
